The BRENTWORTH Type III loudspeaker utilizes two 6.25 inch (158 mm) dynamic drivers and BSL's proprietary loading system to achieve spectacular results. None of our loudspeakers employ crossovers. Instead, the enclosure design manages the driver to provide optimal damping at all frequencies. Elimination of the crossover has many benefits. Group Delay and Phase distortion are virtually eliminated, the complex impedances introduced by crossovers are eliminated, and the power losses of the crossover are eliminated.

The results are a speaker with exceptional transparency, integration and efficiency. The entire musical spectrum is connected. The transient response adds an entire dimension to the audio experience. The flat impedance makes the Type III a very easy speaker to drive.
